Rhinoplasty is a very technically meticulous procedure. People want their nose to match their face, they want it to balance their face, and many times they come in and they don’t really understand what the mechanics are. I can tell you that just last week I had a lovely woman come to my office that was convinced that she really had a hump on her nose that she wanted removed when instead what she really had was an indent up here that made the rest of the nose appear like it had a hump. By simply filling this in her nose looked smaller even though I added to it. Just because the proportion that Rhinoplasty corrected to proportion the nose better with the face. Correct.
